Racism, Xenophobia and Chauvinism
How is it possible that in the 21st century there is still racism, xenophobia and chauvinism?
Each society defends its values as the best. Patriots believe that their society is much better than other societies in the world.
In present times, there are many movements that defend equality among all cultures in our world.
People are closed inside a glass case and just think about themselves. They are very selfish and they think they are the only ones to have problems. They don’t care about society problems, may them be politic, economic, or cultural problems…they just don’t care!
Humans reject each other: Only what I think and defend is correct, and everything else is wrong. My principles are correct so I don’t respect the cultures.
Every day many people in the world emigrate searching for best conditions of life and job. So, it’s important that people start changing what they feel towards different habits, coloured people, gastronomy…
For this reason it’s very important that every people respect other cultures and other people. It’s absolutely necessary to construct equality in this world, to end with racism, accept everything that is foreign and this way we can eliminate xenophobic attitudes.
Nationalists could be the voice of people! People have to think for themselves, respect difference and see how positive this situation can be. It’s a fact that this mixture of cultures is positive for all. It allows an enrichment of our culture in order to learn new things.
So, I can say than it’s urgent to change people’s minds because as we live in a multiracial world, understanding is just possible when people accept the difference, and understand that we can profit from this!
I must say: Don’t expect the others to do everything for you, think for yourself and run after the future, and you will see that you can be happy!
